I’m just girl with a husband and kids.

I started blogging on a whim in 2010, and my passion for writing was ignited. After finding my voice, I did what any wannabe blogger should do. In spring of 2012, I jumped the Blogger train and moved to WordPress.

So? Here I am…

…blogging about the one thing in my life that seems to take precedence over all other things.

Motherhood.

Not just the sweet side of parenting, but the other stuff too.

Like the time I took my son’s tooth fairy money or how we homeschool in underwear.

Sometimes motherhood sucks and I write about it.

It sucks when you don’t know how to help your child or when your child is different and other parents don’t get it. It sucks when your kid is the underdog and you don’t know how to fix it.

But sometimes? It’s wonderful.

It’s wonderful when we get it right or when we have a good day. It’s wonderful when I realize this is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I don’t always get it right, and I quite often wish I could rewind the clock and get a do-over.

But, overall my mission in life is to do my best to keep my kids from seeking professional therapy at an adult age. Of course, I want them to go to college and all that stuff too.

How about some background?

Our family began in 1998 with the birth of our first child.

We got an unconventional start in family life, but we like it that way.

Five years later, he put a ring on it, and we made it official.

2003

Not long after that, we welcomed another healthy baby boy into the world.

2004

This is my husband.

He’s your average heating and air conditioning specialist. Ya know? Like Juno’s dad, only way hotter.

We are currently living our happily ever after near the east coast in sunny Florida.

Although I’m a wife and mother, I have lots of other personalities that don’t get enough attention at home.

So? I write.
