How was your weekend?
We’re all recovering from a weekend of back-to-school colds. Yuck! Who knew you could catch back-to-school colds when you’re a homeschool family, but you can! I blame our recent trip to Burger King and their disgusting indoor playground. When will I learn my lesson about those things?
We spent most of the weekend just relaxing. We all needed the down time anyway, I guess. I picked up the first book I’ve read since summer ended, we skipped church on Sunday, and I even took a nap yesterday. Be jealous!

Who wants a great smoothie recipe? I promise it’s much prettier than the last one I shared.
This recipe is my all time favorite. It really is the best green smoothie recipe you will ever try! If you haven’t given the whole green smoothie thing a go, you should with this one. You will love it! I’m not very good about getting all my fruits and vegetables and smoothies make it easy for me to eat stuff like spinach.
The Best Green Smoothie
1 medium banana
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup frozen mango
huge handful of baby spinach
3/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup vanilla almond milk
It makes enough for two. I share mine with hubs and he loves them!
