I hide from my kids. I do.

I will admit that on more than one occasion I have grabbed the nearest gadget and locked myself in the bathroom without a smidgen of guilt. My kids are finally old enough that they don’t actually want to be in the bathroom with me when I’m using the toilet. No one want to talk to mom anymore when she’s going no.2. Thank God! It’s great. I’ve had countless powder room retreats with my Kindle, laptop, and iPhone.

The bathroom is my perfect hiding place. No one needs to know I’m not actually doing anything bathroom-ish in there. They just need to leave me the heck alone.

How do you spend your “me” time?

Maybe you’re not hiding in the bathroom like me, but we all have those short windows of time during the day when we can fit in a little “me” time.
