NetZero 4G Hotspot Review and Giveaway

As much as I would love for my room to be a private oasis for hubs and I, it generally serves as a dumping ground for junk mail and clean laundry that needs to be folded. Not only does it double as a post office and laundry room, but it also happens to be the one room where our wireless router is located.

If you come in my room and make it past the pile of mail and clean laundry, you’ll probably find my kids. If they’re not actually using the computer back there, they’re probably snuggled up in my bed playing their iPod or DSi.

You see, the room with a good WI-Fi connection is where your kids want to hang out. Unfortunately for me, that room in our home is my room.

Boys, get out of here!

But, Moooom! We don’t get Wi-Fi out there.

Sigh…

A Wi-Fi hot spot, AKA a designated area that the heavens shine down upon with the glorious power to hook up your crap up to the internet.

We have an older block home with a split plan. Nothing is gettin’ through these walls! That’s great for a hurricane and everything, but not so great for a good Wi-Fi connection. Enter NetZero.

NetZero MB Logo - colorNetZero offers 4G wireless broadband in over 80 cites across the U.S. It’s mobile Wi-Fi wherever you are and wherever you go! Yes, please.  The NetZero 4G Hotspot is a portable and personal Wi-Fi hot spot. It’s small enough to throw in your purse and take with you on the go or, if you’re me, put in your kid’s room so you can get some privacy!

It doesn’t matter where you use it, because you can move it around anywhere you need a connection. It’s 100% portable, and no bigger than your phone.

NetZero Hotspot

Sitting in my car enjoying a little Wi-Fi.

Not only is this little beauty coming in handy inside our home, but it’s a great little secret weapon to have on the go. You can connect up to eight devices to your Hotspot at one time. Connect your laptop, notebook, iPod, DSi, iPhone, whatever you need! The iPod my boys were only able to use at home or with a public Wi-Fi connection, can now be taken with us on the go.

I have a little netbook I can now take with me on the go and know that I can get a Wi-Fi connection wherever I am. Me likey.

How about restaurants? They’re not usually a place where you can get a public connection. Sure McD’s or Chik-Fil-A, but not Olive Garden or any place you actually have time to sit and wait for food. Throw your Hotspot in your bag, and wallah! You’re connected. Anywhere!

Somewhere along the way I picked up homeschooling two boys and blogging. When I'm not scrubbing toilets or answering endless questions, I'm usually here, over sharing it all!
