I love Write Shop!
When Kim, from The Write Shop responded to my email and I read that she would love to participate in the #BTSBash event, I squealed! This writing curriculum has really helped me turn a reluctant writer into a child who has fun writing. Thanks, Kim!
One of the things I love about this curriculum, is the lesson plans. It’s already done for me! You can adjust the timeline to fit your needs. It doesn’t matter when you begin, the plans are designed to tailor a beginner or advanced writer. I got the curriculum toward the end of the year last year, so I tried it out, but didn’t really push to finish it. I knew I would want to start fresh at the beginning of the year this year. My son is a second grader and we will follow Kim’s plan to complete all three primary books this year. I’m so excited to see how his writing grows!
“Award-winning WriteShop offers quality, parent-approved writing resources for K-12, helping new and veteran homeschoolers alike teach writing with confidence. Engaging, step-by-step lessons present students with the building blocks of the writing process—pre-writing, brainstorming, writing, and revising—and help you edit and evaluate their work. Teaching writing has never been easier!®”
I’m so happy that they are participating in this event and offering one of you your choice of either A,B, or C from the Write Shop Primary sets. With Write Shop primary, you will be able to gently introduce K-3rd graders to the steps of the writing process using engaging activities, crafts, and picture books. Winner’s choice of WriteShop Primary Book A, B, or C. ($38 value!)

This will be our first year with Write Shop but my daughter is dyslexic and was able recently to raise her reading levels enough that I feel confident that she can write now. Finding something that could fit our needs was a task I dreaded until I found Write Shop. Now we are both so excited to start the year:)

I’ve been wanting The Write Shop for my 12yo dyslexic daughter for the past year or so. I’ve not had the money to buy it, so winning it would be awesome!

Thank you for hosting this awesome “bash” with amazing prizes for us homeschoolers! I just discovered your blog about a week ago and have enjoyed reading it, plus I’m getting some great ideas for scheduling my own kids (something I’m struggling with at the moment).
I’d love to win the WriteShop giveaway because I’d like to try it with my middle daughter, who has had litle writing instruction. Both she and I would benefit from a healthy dose of handholding in the writing department!

You are welcome, Tia! So glad you can make it.
Nice! I’ve been trying to figure out what to use to teach writing.
I have heard good things about it!
I would love to win this so that I can give my kids the best possible head start in learning to write!
My 7 year old son has trouble with creative writing so I would love to learn new ideas for our class and help him become more confident with his writing abilities.

I have a really reluctant writer – hoping to win and make writing fun!!
Writing is the one piece we are missing and Writeshop would be a great curriculum to fill it
I really want this curriculum for my kids!
Write Shop is the reason I cannot wait for the new school year to start. I Know it’s going to make all the difference in our lack of writing in her school and I’m so thankful for the direction in a subject I did not learn in school.
