I saw him move the shovel back and forth, and then I saw MOM.
How sweet. A love letter? Notsomuch.
Can you make it out?
Mom is a dork.
Somewhere along the way I picked up homeschooling two boys and blogging. When I'm not scrubbing toilets or answering endless questions, I'm usually here, over sharing it all! My writing is always honest, sometimes sarcastic, and never perfect. I hope to keep my kids from seeking adult therapy. I know. Pipe dreams...You can find me as @TheMommyMess on Twitter and on Facebook.

How old is your Hemingway? Should you be worried? Probably not. Perhaps this is a wonderful opportunity for an object lesson…you know, the one about words and their power to hurt. While it might have expressed what he was feeling in the moment, how might he have felt if he discovered a similar note from you?
I am certain it will all be well.
Peace and good to you both.
Oh my. At least he was thinking of you. ha ha. Mayabe he meant it in a good way?
((stifled giggles because I've gotten these notes too)) Well, it is kinda funny! I know…probably not for you…but look at it this way! the spelling and grammar were correct and he shared his feelings!
LOL
Well, you could grade his spelling and penmanship. (LoL)
LOL, that seems normal.
Awww…
I am a dork. My kids argue with me whenever I try to go public. I can only assume the inverse would be true. You must be cool as it gets.
I've always been told when boys teased you, they liked you. So maybe that's your son's way of loving on you.
I'm a dork. Aren't we all dorks? It's a good thing.
